Two Years & Counting

This broken image of perfection is stuck in time. Waiting this long can take its toll on a dreamer. I'm starting to lose sight But I refuse to wait for too long. But I feel its just the beginning as our dreams fade away. There has got to be so much more than this. I'm losing hold of everything I know and I trust in you. And I know no matter what, you'll get me through. This broken image of perfection is stuck in time. Waiting this long can take its toll on a dreamer. But the end is in sight. Two years and counting until I feel alive. I won't let this go cause I'm closer than you know. This life is all I have ever known and honestly I'm scared to death because of it. But even when I have lost everything in pursuit of this false reality, I know I'd still have you. A beacon for all to see. A light, someone who's guiding me. This is passion at its greatest and heart at its finest. I'm staring over the edge of sanity with nothing but a smile. And I can hear the angels singing that this is our night. For this is passion at its greatest and heart at its finest I can feel that we're almost home. Two years and counting and we must be close.
