Autumn

It's autumn. Just look around It's when the leaves turn gold and red and brown They fall from the trees and float in the breeze We can jump on the leaves piled up on the ground Autumn. It's that time of year Acorns and chestnuts and walnuts appear Squirrels scurry round and collect them off the ground They're saving them for later when winter is here Autumn's after summer. It's got cooler weather It cold outside so you might need a sweater It's time for fun things like picking out pumpkins While the birds head south for a holiday together Autumn. Some call it fall It's when the days get shorter but I don't mind at all There's bonfires flickering and apple picking Autumn. That's what it's called
