The Cave

It's a ghost town baby All I see is danger on the cold walls of this cave I feel the most down baby All I see are strangers in the old halls of this grave What is reality And what do I believe Happens when I leave for good And what do I deserve What space have I reserved When I leave this earth behind So take these shackles off me I don't see the purpose of this wandering way of life I leave this self-imposed chapel And I leave the circus and this way of squandering time What is reality And what do I believe What were those shadows anyhow I've been seeing projections on the cave wall Hands down, push up, now stand tall Turn around and see the fire burning low The flames started glowing not long ago Statues move and dance, and I'm starting to see This is all just a lame trick being played on me Crawl for the light Nothing is real, I cry Nothing is real I hear the angels sing Save yourself Only may survive So, take your chance while you can
