Playing my position While I sit and listen Steady wishing I could do more Than just sit and listen Wishing I could really heal 'em Bless 'em with a vision Take the weight off they shoulders Put a end to they premonitions And give 'em everything they missing At the snap of a finger Just get rid of all they tension For those who open up to me I feel like it's my mission Never question who there for me Cause I know that God listen So ain't nothing missing But since I know that he hear me See why I'm called to listen Through my reflection He showed me the ways That I was trippin Took me a minute to see the trauma I'd been suppressing Praying for no weapon to prosper Showed that I'd been the weapon Forming against me But now I see and vow Never to lack the action I need for what my intent be I ask for guidance in prayer Listen intently Eyes and ears open Just asking the Lord help me Give me the strength Give me discernment I need the wisdom Give me the power Give me the courage I see the vision Give me the light you want me to shine And words for the mission Pray they see the power of prayer Through divine intervention Your will is my intention So let thy kingdom come Feeling the strength of your spirit Too many living numb Just pray one day they go'n feel it Shine like the morning sun Pray for clarity in your voice Let thy will be done
