Fact of Life

I see everybody around me Only worshipping tragedy All of us think we're so significant But every story has an end The clock is ticking Why are you still wasting Away any proven chance That we have at life? The day will come Where all of us will Find we have to face Every day we live we Walk closer to to our grave The hardest fact of life for which we philosophize Not everybody lives But everybody dies Today, you're a human being But your time of that is fleeting Once you put a friend six feet underground You'll understand what I'm trying to say So get up on your feet And do not accept defeat You can't change a thing Until you try to change your thinking! And if there is, why can't it easily be seen? Do we deserve this? Or is peace something we will only see in our dreams?
