Eyes above The wisping flame of the pit The silent emptiness befalling around me In the folds of the nothingness I scream For the embrace of death I scream in the nothingness I stand alone in the darkness Shadows reach Piercing your chest grabbing your soul Like a jackal it tears and rips your inner self It takes a hold of you And it won't let go Contorted face and melted flesh dripping from its fingertips Blistered skin The fallen masterpiece is sewn in violence By the hands of creation The smell of burning flesh The taste of copper It's sickly sweet and satisfies the inner darkness As I stare into The Piercing sun A thousand knives at once Carve my mind Close your eyes I see nothing but death Peripheral spectres staring in hate Through its eyes The hopeless draw of the void Pulling me in with the force of a neutron star
