Hello everybody you don't recognize me do you Let me jog your memory and then I'll tell you what's new I was the guy, in a disguise, who kept in my mind A scarecrow, the entity that brought forth much demise I realized that he was the enemy, like amphetamine, triggered my mind Trapped me in a cage and made me dwell on everything inside To remind me of the anger and hatred and the sensations that made me wanna die I'll never forget all the things we discussed And the things that we did, all the people we cut And I'll never forget what we thought, what we taught And we did it all quickly and didn't get caught And I'll always remember how I felt alone How I wasn't a member of anyone show All the lyrics we wrote they were bad to the bone So I threw out my phone, are you ready to roll So I found myself moving right out of my town And I told myself never again will I drown And I said no more people are bringing me down I will start a new life and will form a new crowd I'll represent Jesus, I like how that sound I'll become a pastor and preacher And through this procedure I'll learn what it means to be set apart I got offered the job and said when do I start I hope that the enemy's ready cause I'm here exposing him and all of his lies No I will never again be a victim and I will not put on another disguise You were my downfall, and the deceiver, you always telling me pick up the cleaver So I could get rid of all of the people that hurt me while turning me into the reaper Telling me reap all the things I have sown while I bury the bones, and the ambient tones Playing in my headphones, while you show all the darkness within me And smoke like a chimney Had me on my knees, I was blind but now I can see That Satan and all of the demons was tricking me Over and over repeatedly, wow, wow time to switch up the scene I look at my past when I was still bleeding I got a therapist now that I'm seeing Because I worry if I will still be the same person I see while I'm in my bed dreaming I hear the screaming without a reason I am so paranoid I stay up late seeking meaning All of my negative thoughts, start to rot I will not let him back in my door anymore Of course, Jesus got me With his spirit man nothing can stop me I will not become one of their zombies Around me, surrounding this music is resounding Everything coming to motion, I don't want commotion Hey God you getting this notion I'm hoping this music can become a gateway to healing To you Lord I'm kneeling It's time to begin a new chapter I'm ready to capture the meaning of Jesus who died Who loved through all of my darkness And told me to never forget how I am justified He gave me his spirit, to guide me, remind me That nothing can separate us cause I'm free Not death or life or angels rulers demons ever cause defeat Jesus will always be mine It's time to get on the grind No we will not waste no time He is our Lord and his light will shine Put on the armor of God We'll make his word go abroad Into the battle we run We will not stop till we are done This is the new me let's see how well you take it I'm a believer but before felt I faked it I'm ready now it's true this time I know I packed all my bags it's time to hit the road
