Floating heavy Kinda unsteady Tryna find a remedy For this sickness plaguing me I fret for sleep I run in my dreams I swim through the sea Of darkness Holding my breath I can't breathe Can't see what's ahead of me Just the motivation to keep moving Forwards always No matter the feelings And pressure on me No matter the persistent picking Nipping and scratching And the attempts at attaching My life and movements to a few things Passing in my mind My moods don't match No two days are the same So I take them Day by day And try to keep my head Keep it from caving in Where are my friends I need their hands To help me mend The tears and rips all over my body
