I saw a man when I was walking downtown He blocked the pavement in front of me I made to cross the street to be safe, and said I don't have any money on me He said, I don't want your money I just want your time I'm 63 years old and The only love I've got is mine My wife took the kids And she was right Came home from the war To an even bigger fight I lost my house, I lost my job But worst of all, people pretend like they can't see me They look away, they cross the street They break their backs so their eyes don't meet The man on the street They don't see me Can you see me I don't want your money I just want your time I'm 63 years old and I feel like I am dying I'm a person too What did I ever do to you Don't you ignore me too
