The tables and chairs were upside down The walls like painted by an eerie clown There was something vaguely distinctive about the room The food was flying, the drinks were spilling It was the most lucid sight he'd seen It was the most lucid sight he'd seen It was the most lucid sight he'd seen It was the most lucid sight He stood there in disbelief Wondering if he had fallen asleep But no, this was real, this madness he felt In this ugly city the connivance had melted and sunk in But despite all this chaos and commotion He found himself in a strange mental state He laughed and joked in this uncanny scene In this ugly city where everybodys loose smile had the impermanent quality of melting snow
