Glitch in Reality

An ordinary day nothing strange in sight The café's crowded bathed in light Then it happens a flicker a shift Like reality's caught in a rift The barista's gone then back again Conversations repeat déjà vu's refrain The world resets a glitch in the flow And I question what's real what I know The flicker in the air the world's out of line Is it in my head or a sign? The more I see the more I fear This glitch is real drawing near It knows my thoughts bends my will I feel the static I can't stay still The flicker in my mind what have I found? Reality's shifting without a sound Walking down the street I see her freeze A woman in red caught in the breeze Her image skips like a broken screen The world's unraveling or so it seems I try to push the feeling away Blaming it on another day But it follows me haunts me still The glitch is more than a chill The flicker in the air the world's out of line Is it in my head or a sign?
