Chaos

The ladder has been shattered I no longer speak in my own voice But in the clamor of those Who came before and are to come The sky descends in flames I am unmoved I can't be removed If I'm no longer there The sky flows in torrents I can't be drowned If I've already been submerged I can't be overthrown If I've already given it all The sky frozen, illuminate I'm no longer there For the sun has left these barren lands And everything's whited out down there Everything's pale The sum of all equals to white It's not purity It's the drenched reflection of our own emptiness Where everything and everyone Just exists for itself And the absence of shade Is an absence of light So I welcome you darkness The sky is gone And everything is said and done
