As the story goes here I am The many miles add up to tens of thousands And we should not capsize the boat When only the small waves surround us And the breakdowns come sporadically Ill timed, not unordinary And the letdowns creep in constantly bombarding Always sinking the last boat on the sea This is how I put my mind at ease I take it out on you like you took it out on me So as the story goes the confrontations overwhelm always And I try to amend but the flaws are always greater than the strengths The water spins and pulls me down Can't see, can't swim, I only drown Sleep, sleep my love It's quiet time, so soothing To remember as only a memory See you standing there Your eyes see through me now Yet no one is there
