We all know it's a Race to reach the end faster than everyone else But if we wait and just pretend we're all in this together Eventually fiction comes true We all need some support in the failing world we live in If we cheat and distort the natural equation We all lose If it's not one thing it's another Always willing to sacrifice each other Utopia comes at the cost of the dead So we live in disarray instead How many wars? How many murderers How many cycles of history repeat How do we teach individual morality So many wells are poisoned by greed If we want a revolution It has to be more than a word we say If it's in our evolution Why don’t we leave behind our played out ways Capture your thoughts and put them toward a common use Based on experience we've gained Logic and reason go perfect with consciousness But we're stuck on destruction and pain Leaders lead us into chaos We must lead ourselves Take the reigns make the choice Take care of yourself We don't need a savior anymore We've seen enough of the metaphor The key is the realization Embrace your self separation Fear takes it's hold as you leave your mold The only way that we reach the end is death Death I see pain in your eyes and I feel it deep inside me The only way out of here is to stop The war inside our mind is forever until we die
