christmas 82 just me and you do you remember how easy it was then? no harsh words no knives in the back, back then just plain sailing till the next time we both fell out with each other but getting back was so good we'd look forward to those times in the park down by the stream where you said those little things you said back then down by the stream you meant every word you said christmas 03 and you without me never seemed happier then a smile from ear to ear but tell me tell me the truth now you're opposite me (drinking coffee) and the world is at your feet down by the stream the world is at my feet in the shape of those eyes looking back at me the world is at my feet and i can't say i've been happier, happier i can't say that i'm happy
