1000 Lives

As I drift through times alone I carry the weight of the past A dead world of ghostly beings The self deception and the grief I put off the false smile And sharpen my teeth I spoke my being forward And it all came down to my grip Let all the bricks and stones Be dust, merged  with soil Let my blood be the flow If the river is slow My soul's a need to earth desires My body is somebody And my breath is everyone's If I could satisfy my appetite Then I would be tied In golden chains A thousand lives I would waste And a million moments Teared to shreds As the gods pour water Into my hands So where I'm needed I will stay For being needy Is a waste Cycles come and go in patterns Only "I" is not the same I see everything but truth For the truest has no name Let me fall To save us all To bring it down And merge the poles Let all the bricks
