Sanity's Grave

If sanity is a kingdom And I was the ruler Would it fade Would I be dethroned If There came a day Where I was shown Sanity's grave Emotion is feeling But it feels deeper I know it changes It alternates To the situations To my mental well being If fed by anxiety If fed by stress If it left me to be a mess Emotion is powerful Emotion can bring healing But if wielded With malice It can disrupt the atmosphere And leave everyone in tears When I give my last everything When I give my last everything When I give my last everything My emotions die My sanity falls The void rises And I can't see anything Beyond the tide Of indifference and tired eyes I am so tired of this Painted and tainted In sanity's grave In the graveyard of emotions In hollow days In sanity's grave I am holding a flower Looking at angelic towers The magnified streams of conciousness overwhelms Passages of time Memories of death Memories of life I place the flower Who's petals fell At sanity's grave At the graveyard of emotions When I give my last everything When I give my last everything When I give my last everything My emotions die My sanity falls The void rises And I can't see anything Beyond the tide Of indifference and tired eyes I am so tired of this Painted and tainted Washing away me Like my dead sanity Leaves me here in a garden Of death and disconnection Washing away me Like my dead emotion Leaves me here in a sea With no more breathing Star shower Rains on me In dreams and reality Moon tower I try to reach But I'm left in the in between Sun flower Mirrors me Holding on for something healing But at the end Receiving A heart with no feeling Goodbye emotions I loved you You are gone Goodbye emotions You hurt me sometimes But you made my skies brighter other times Goodbye sanity I am at your grave Here's a garden To try and ease the pain
