The Anxious Sunrise

I look when the sun rises A new day begins After the previous day ends And my anxiety has risen The anxious sunrise Blinds my clear eyes Brings out my dark-side Of insecurity and uncertainty The anxious sunrise Makes my whole mind Work like a clock overtime And anxiety becomes it's fuel Until the day has gotten through The next Then it resets Anxiety wakes within Hours of pacing Thinking and wondering Where to go next What to do next How to improve myself If all of the planets are in harmony If all my worries scarred me If all these days are hurrying To reach the next day Yes I feel days run faster and faster And old my past is just an old chapter And if this world in my brain was Every factor For all of this The anxious sunrise Blinds my clear eyes Brings out my dark-side Of insecurity and uncertainty The anxious sunrise Makes my whole mind Work like a clock overtime And anxiety becomes it's fuel Until the day has gotten through The next Then it resets Even if uncomfortable A lot of the time It's okay Wishing when the sun is burning Rather then when the moon is freezing me And hoping for something to replace My insecurities with real security And not race against my mind So much of the time The anxious sunrise Blinds my clear eyes Brings out my dark-side Of insecurity and uncertainty The anxious sunrise Makes my whole mind Work like a clock overtime
