I'm tryna live my passion My own guide for my first steps Creating a strong name for myself Stick to the end goal Cause I need a plan of action 18 years young now, arrogant So many questions, single-digit answers Ego getting the best of me Hard to stay down to earth Writing down these verses Gratitude for my parents The ones who always believed in my talents, Times pass, don't forget the value in those brief moments Even under pressure, staying strong like diamonds We tend to create our own problems Living life gracefully, chasing money indefinitely The family sleeping anxiously, for what Becoming our own victims Acquiring debt, starting to think different Starting to feel alone and neglected Self-worth is at an all-time low Need to feel resurrected, questioning their purpose Escape it through the bottles Drinking it away, yeah sinking away No one to check in, just self-medicate Living alone, too late, lights out, reaching heaven's gates Going on a night drive, thankful for a good life Life is a gamble, all my life's fate is betting on a roll of the dice One red light, wrong turn you could be dead or alive Lately, every text has a reason Hearing back the least from the ones you hold nearest Shit feels like a transaction, seeming so distant The blame is persistent Judgments from too many voices One percent seems to always be the loudest The only opinion I need is From my role models, loved ones, and my mentor All the flaws, flip into advantage Never stay low, even when life is shit Speak my truth through the verses Stay grateful, strive for greatness Never to be average, Never try to be average Our path is ours man Nah Never try to be average
