Blowin' smoke into the black of night Watching it rise to the sky Sit and think of way too many things Suddenly feel calm inside Driving up to the hillside Leaving the city behind Sometimes all our thoughts are deceptive Fooling us for the hundreth time We never learn a thing All the grudges are damping our spirits We could easily be so much more But never learn a thing Blowin' smoke into the black of night Watching it rise to the sky Sit and think of way too many things Suddenly feel calm inside Standing up on the the hillside Watching the clouds roll by All our thoughts they are running in circles And the spiral leads all the way down We never learn a thing Just sit back and let it all happen Yeah man is a creature of habit Even if it cuts like a knife Then I come back My mood has changed From all black to quite okay I got the wind at my back Too many thoughts have been wasted on nothing Finally i got rid of that Hoping it will last some longer
