giving up (interlude)

I think giving up is exhausting everything you can into something Up to the point where you've done all that you could But it's just starting to become unhealthy So that's what I call giving up I think giving up is simply feeling a sense of hopelessness In your heart and in your spirit And not being able to go on, not being able to make yourself go on with whatever you're doing I think giving up is kind of a sense of relief in a way Giving up is forgetting who you are and letting other people take that from you I think giving up is a way to escape the fear of failing I think giving up reminds us that we're human No one ever plans to give up But when you realize you can't keep running, you can't keep taking the blows You get reminded of how small we are And giving up just means we finally accepted it I think giving up is convincing yourself hard enough that you don't have what it takes To keep going in the situation that you're in I think giving up is
