A Meditation

I let it consume me Broken glass bleeds through me I cover my skin in dirt So I never forget My life is meaningless I let it destroy me A bloody wall revealing everything Where I used to see my reflection I only see an enemy One thousand birds Block out the sky I suddenly realize I am not in the prison of life I am in a hell of my own design How can I escape from my own head? I'm surrounded by useless shit, deadweight, and death. But I still can't kill this reflection As my head rushes down to the concrete An entire world stands in front of me 300 men trying to kill me They don't understand Either way titan takes everything And the pain builds monuments in glory You want to search the world over for meaning? You were born just to die and that's everything F*ck I've seen this land when the sun sets The mountains trap me in my cell I can feel the vessel careening Titan takes hold of me The last coin drops to the bottom My heart stops And I hear the sound increase Hell All life is suffering
