Day Nine

Darkness fades as sunlight leaves its side Against all instinct, I choose not to hide Day nine of this dream that I can't comprehend I can't seem to find out where it ends These days I find I really can't decide When I wake and when I lose control I'm only dreaming but the clocks are moving I pinch myself but there's no proving That I can wake up from this bed Running in place but tripping over my feet Tossing and turning but not under my sheets Think it's time it should be said That I can't wake up from this bed
