In the Paradise

I’ve come to love the world at large I’ve learned to live among the stars I’ve finally opened up my eyes At last I’ve come to understand Each day’s a gift in Wonderland I’m in the paradise My tendency to not agree Is overcome with sympathy I long to brighten up your skies Those shades of gray turn black and white I now see clearly day and night I’m in the paradise If this one chance is all we get Then why not make the most of it We all deserve the best of life I’ll seize the moment, now’s my chance To be my best and dance the dance I’m in the paradise I’ll love my life and live my truth Embrace my twilight and my youth I’m grateful for the chance to ride Let it be known that when I die I will have already arrived I’m in the paradise Forever and a day Just a breath away Give thanks and say “I am in the paradise” The best, I’ve heard it said Weill reign once we’re dead But, as for me, I’m am in the paradise My dreams are mine to make My fate, to create This life is mine, I am in the paradise
