Time to act

I've been lying on the floor down here Wasting my time and young years And when I look around me I see Nothing more than dust and fear I've been dwelling on my memories Thinking those good times are lost There is nothing more I wish for But to erase them from my heart I've been told All my life That I need to be reasonable Down to earth Carefull and wise Forget your hopes and your dreams I had enough of all this rubbish Here comes a new state of mind It's time to Act Time to go I've been lying on the floor down here Hit now by a sudden truth That the answers I've been searching Can't be found but can be lived And that this constant feeling of being Not good enough Is a goddamn excuse and a lie For not doing things Forget about approuvals The only one you have to meet the needs Is yourself and only you It's time to act Time to go Far away I was standing on the ground up here Many years after that thought And life has never been that easy Life has never been that bright I couldn't have believed then That the key lay in this idea That action leads to action A vertuous circle is formed now I will tell all my life Over and over That I need to be Just who I am But the best version of me Never stop to go further All those years I've been wasting The only thing I really wanted Was to live trully and fully Was to live intensely Listening to others can be wise But nothing compares to real life One can fail so many times But to succeed once is enough I am no more afraid That good times belong to the past Because I am Sure of one thing The best is yet to come It's time to live truly I will live
