Plenty Days of Sun

There is plenty of the world to see But no one wants to leave their house When the rain is knocking down The powers out, the candles feel Like when we all could sit around And finish jigsaws out In peace There's comfort in good company I'll build myself a time machine There'll be plenty other days of sun But Sundays never seem to be As fun as they were then So Tuesdays can pretend And then weeks won't have to end And time would be better spent At ease At ease There's comfort in good company I'll build myself a time machine And I'll leave I'll leave I'll visit some old memories And stay where time will welcome me
