Hay (Acoustic)

I was walking down the road one day And I came across a bale of hay Hey what is that doing here Well you know I've got a horse Doobie And he likes to joke around of course And I thought he might like to have some chow I went and got the tractor away Went down the road on a sunny day Picked it up and headed back to home Well this hay looked kinda funny to me But what the hey hay is hay And the plug was just chompin it away Well the horse went crazy Jumped over the fence jumped over the clothes line And trampled some tents Man I never seen a plug move fast like that I thought I'd give him a try at the track So I took along the hay as a snack Signed us up and away we go Took him out back gave him some hay About that time the starter said it's time to play He took off like a shot Well hold on tight away we go Around the circle and don't you know We passed them all in a cloud of dust Across the finish and over the fence Over the judges and though the tents Before I knew it I was pulling up my driveway hey hey Well I went and put the horse away And I sat on my chair to ponder the day And it was about that time that the phone it started to ring Something about a bail of hay but all I could say was neigh I don't know what you're talking about Well the horse went crazy crashed through the door Jumped over the chair and he slid across the floor Well I think that plug just wants his hay back Well if you're traveling down the road someday And you come across a bail of hay Just leave the damn thing alone Hay!
