Something Must Give

I don't Understand My unlucky hand Life has so graciously dealt Nothing can compare Or end this nightmare Can't believe the pain I have felt Have always been taught Though it matters not Treat others how you want to be treated I give it my best Put this to the test Yet somehow I still come up cheated Something must give I can not live In sorrow which I did not claim People are strange People must change If nothing changes its always the same Because I am clever No way could I ever Purposely do others wrong But so many do Without a clue And that's gone on for far too long Allthough I say I must walk away Something still keeps me here Not sure why Might live a lie Could be stupidity or fear Something must give I can not live In sorrow which I did not claim People are strange People must change If nothing changes its always the same Must make a choice Listen to the voice I hear so loudly inside If I don't prevail I'm destined to fail To end this horrible ride Follow your heart not your head Someone once said For its love that conquers all If this is true Then what do I do If love is the reason I fall Something must give I can not live In sorrow which I did not claim People are strange People must change If nothing changes its always the same
