Bloom Again

In the garden of my soul I was lost and alone Addiction wrapped around me Choking all I'd known Weeds of despair grew thick Suffocating my light But deep down I was waiting Longing for the fight I was just a small seed Buried deep in the ground Waiting for the moment When my strength would be found Impatient for the water Craving the rich soil But I know I must be patient As I start to uncoil I'm a flower reborn Reaching for the sun With every drop of rain My new life has begun Through the trials and the storms I'll rise above the pain In this garden of recovery I'll bloom again Though the weeds may return Trying to take me down With faith in my heart I'll stand my ground God's hands will guide me Through shadows and strife I'm more than just a flower I'm reclaiming my life As I stretch toward the sky I feel the warmth of grace The beauty in my spirit Shines brightly in this space Each day I grow stronger More radiant than before I'll show the world my colors And open up the door I'm a flower reborn Reaching for the sun With every drop of rain My new life has begun Through the trials and the storms I'll rise above the pain In the whisper of the wind I hear my spirit sing A melody of hope Like the warmth of spring With roots that dig deeper I'm anchored in His light No longer just surviving I'm ready for the fight So here I stand in glory With a story to share Of love, faith, and courage In the garden of prayer With God as my gardener I'll flourish and thrive In this beautiful life I'm finally alive Through the trials and the storms I'll rise above the pain In this garden of recovery I'll bloom again I'll bloom again
