The moment before the end Is all I can remember Am I alive again? Would I know the difference? This seems like a dream, am I really here? I can't feel a thing and I cannot move I hear footsteps coming closer I'm trapped, again... Inside my own body Beside me an apparition of her Stares at me with judging sadness in her eyes She's is not real (just a dream) Apparition (ghost) But I am the one who's dead A puppet (of torture) Fabrication (you don't know) Stop talking If only I could move I would reach and touch her Then I'd know She does not move Does not seem to breathe But somehow I hear her voice Darkness turns white (blinding) I can't see (a thing) Clinical odor in the air Overwhelming (noise) Deafening (disturbing) The air feels freezing As my eyes start to adjust I no longer recognize the room She is not there, the room is empty I am hooked up into machines
