Each year the door frame brings more shame, more pain Life really nothing like the board game Sittin' in a dusty ol' house lonely and aroused Head always stuck in the clouds They're grey and rainy, wearin' 'em as a shroud In my dreams got a lot of doubt Down in my conscious are nightmares Villains don't fight fair Diseases seekin' to defeat me right there Wheezin' while repeatingly pleadin' with my mind's terrors They have high hopes like Im a high heir Through the blinds in the night moon light tears Into my bedroom, I might be dead soon Out and about need to use the restroom For water works worse than a conjuring of king Neptune Constantly on people's menu Trust the wrong one's and they'll end you Shitty friend, brother, son, and nephew No excuse, just refuse to stop being stubborn Make bad choices, then another one Decisions could of been different Stuck in a loop of reminiscin Every reality, in every rendition Tried to shoot a star but missed it When I die I hope I can look at my faults and lies In my next life I can fix these flaws of mine Can't rewind or pause time So I stop and sigh, then realize Each year the door frame brings more shame, more pain Life really nothing like the board game Each year the door frame brings more shame, more pain Life really nothing like the board game
