Outside my room Is a lonely world In a quiet neighborhood With curtains drawn And the radio on I can almost be myself I keep my head in the grass Knock on the door Scratch at the window Nobody's getting in Litter the yard With invitations I can hear them singing I keep my head in the grass Cus I'm afraid of what's out there I'm getting out of the house I have dreams of it I'm afraid of the world Cus every time I open the door I can feel them closer Their yellow eyes on me The wind howling And I can feel their breath Run down the back of my neck Yeah I can taste Death Snappin me like a twig That's why I stay in the house That's why I never leave That's why I keep the doors locked I know what's coming for me I keep my head in the grass
