The forest floor shakes It writhes in agony And if the ground could speak It would be screaming I hear another overtone like a devil's moan Creeping through the cracks in the earth And I fail to make a move I can't keep breathing There is a mood hanging in the air Affecting everything it touches A fluorescent hue begins to appear I fear Where my gods, they are sleeping What, if anything, is left for me?
