Rainbow Valley

I was walking HOME the other day, Walking through an eternity of RAIN, The sun came and broke the clouds, I swear it was diamonds that rained down I stood and watched them fall to the ground The road had turned to glass, the sky had turned to GOLD And I felt the return of HOPE Omnipotent deity, made a mark maybe just for me, With the not one but two rainbows (Ran-BOW, RAIN-bow) I was on the fence, I couldn't make up my mind Was this coincidence or design? Just when I lost face to that rascal called fate The grey gives way to colour and SUNSHINE Oh, DOUBLE THE RAINBOW, DOUBLE THE GOLD, And a POCKET FULL OF HAPPINESS or so I've been told I could disappear in this SHINING RAIN Maybe there's life at the end, the end of things to come Rainbow, is this epiphany your POT OF GOLD?
