Raincoat on my body and it still smell like my brother Storm clouds in the sky and that's no way to spend a summer No sunshine in my eyes I guess my life is lacking luster I don't go outside that isn't strength that I could muster Use to love the vibe now I just feel so out of place People see me now and they don't have the words to say Conversation heavy when your brother pass away See it in they eyes I find it best to look away I take walks in the rain like maybe I would wash away The nothingness within is like a burden every day When nothing gives you joy is there a reason you should stay In a life that you have made That's littered with the energy of people you have lost Now all I got is memories and those too will be lost Father Time is cruel and that's a universal truth Mother Nature too So I spend my time in the booth Tryna give you truth This raincoat is all I need When storms brew and we sing songs for deceased When the cold truth of a life lived is revealed Thought I told you death is nothing more than a thief And Lord you, tell me I should keep the belief Like every tribulation part of plans that you are placing Like all will be revealed and all you ask of me is patience But my faith isn't blind I need a time stamp on your promises I look to the sky I got a ball in my esophagus They can't see me cry but they can hear it on the Polydisk Prayers on my name but I don't feel it when they say it Cos God is not alive within a man is only Satan This hell is all we have it's up to us of what we make it No man that ever lived has ever broken out the matrix Death comes for us all only a fool would've escaped it But for the death rejoice for to the darkness we return
