Traversing Transcendence

Here we are again, cold feet sinks in the sand Feel the Earth's revolution, a forgotten innocence Hear the wind heave its sigh, cotton clouds roll on by Watch the ancient stars twinkle in our washed up eyes Symphony of our hearts, we sing endlessly Raise your glasses to the skies, for former glories Hang on to that noose and stand by the shores The tides will sympathize as the sun will always rise To dry those tears away and heal those aching bones Waves rise to reclaim, you and me, once more And everyone is just the same, only our dreams differ As we run though this human race, leaving an imprint to trace For time moves constantly, ever forward until an end Don't let the chains subdue and shackle you from pushing past those regrets So just kill yourself as you cut away from that contentment that deprives your soul And know that immortality is yours to take, for we all die to live Here we are again, blood trickles on the sand A drifters journey at an end, voices they call my name Traverse the sun's golden aisle and glide to the horizon A transcendence as I come undone, oh lead me back to my rhythmic home
