I find the hardest part of moving on Is not looking back at how it's gone The people I know the places I go It's a little less slow, a little more show I got a gang I've known for centuries Or at least that's how long that it seems We laugh at the screen and bike to Arby's Watch some movies and talk too loudly I made my first project at Aaron's place And met a girl I'd love along the way We played ball with the boys when we had a choice We'd listen to noise and shattered our voice Dropped all my money on some paper Look at my shit man I'm a bachelor And all that I have to show for that class Are some friends who play tag and one I want back So I'm here now But I can't stay long Til I'm back out on the ocean Awaiting any motion so I'm Here now But I can't stay long Can't you please just open up Before you close shut I find the hardest part of moving on Is not looking back at how it's gone The people I know the places I go It's a little less slow, a little more show I got a gang that's met for centuries And I don't know if a next time will be These miles between even time is changing The fault is on me, I'm the one that's moving I made my first project at Aaron's place It's been so long since I have seen his face I wish that we stayed maybe we'd have played To the hundreds who came to see More Tunes! on stage Dropped all my money on some paper Now my girlfriend's my wallet's savior Was it worth the hockey, a lot of losing Nights of driving, and a million memories So I'm here now But I can't stay long Til I'm back out on the ocean Awaiting any motion so I'm Here now But I can't stay long Can't you please just open up Before you close shut I never said that things were better They all just look that way in mirrors I always question just what it would be If I went back to see How things would play out if I changed everything I never said I would be better But I still look that way in mirrors I always find myself wondering If I lost something That would have made me so much more happy I find the hardest part of moving on Is not looking back at how it's gone The people I know the places I go It's a little less slow, a little more show Met a girl I love along the way She's the reason that I get to say No matter where I could be or could climb I'm here in my time and doing just Fine
