It’s that time of year when I get happy and a little sad At the same time When I get to see her But only for a short while Feels like a lifetime has passed since we Got to play in the snow and sit In front of the fireplace And catch up And pretend we’re Not in love, so we Decorate the tree and hang the stockings up Laugh all night long, Girl you’re so enough She’s on my Christmas list Every year but she doesn’t know Dear Santa This year can she come with a bow I’ll open all my presents I’ll even fake a smile But none of those things Make me feel what I do When I’m with you I’d rather go for a walk and just you and Me and I’d love to just talk about all the things Like how many kids You think you gonna have when you grow up?
