An Average Introduction

I'm nothing special I'm just like everyone else My own capacity's hitting its threshold I hope you don't end up using me Cause you'd lead me to think that you settled Your blood was slain for me But it ain't carrying through this vessel Don't trust in me with your plans I know i'll just stumble and eventually mess up I fess up Confess though You say I'm your child But I feel like I'll never amount to your expectation It's so hard for me to follow inside The footsteps of Your greatness Or perfection Every lesson Just proves I'll never comprehend The true magnitude of your Essence I'm burned out Flame dwindles Been swindled Rekindle it if you can relate It's so hard to walk out in faith When I feel so undeserving of grace Will I ever be like Drake? Will I ever be like Kendrick? I can't even see my gifts When I'm too wrapped up in the present Maybe the fame wasn't meant for a lame Who tends to fail every one of your testings But my confession Is that God is not the One I choose to run to find my rest in It's stressing me Will the weight of the world Cause me to lose belief Or will I stop planting your seeds I see all the (Crae's) The Mineo's And the KB's Does that mean there's a path for me? I followed your lead It led to waters where I could barely breathe I gasp for some air to achieve I pass out from worry and grief But maybe God's plan's not for me to succeed But I digress Hopefully wish me the best On the journey to success But what is success When you're constantly feeling depressed I don't deserve to make it I just deserve the hatred Throw me right where the lake is I deserve fire Burn with my desires Don't know why anyone thinks I'm worth saving But what about God Look at the work He had to do with Paul Made the most ordinary people called Don't you just sit there and live for tomorrow He calls you today Dig yourself outta that grave Walk in the path that was paved Follow your calling Just cause you came from the dirt Doesn't mean you should live there in shame Break out the chains, God Freed you from pain, God Give me the strength, God I'm not insane When I don't have every answer Help me call on your name, God Darkness can't reign It submits to Your reign There's no crown of glory That's fit for a man Listen The Bible's not full of perfection It's filled with those who overcame Uh The One who created the world Is the Being that lives inside of me I can't believe it Through Him I'm overachieving His greatness proceeds Him Speak through me in heavenly credence With God I'm not average Read through His passages Branded like Mavericks Give me the keys Break into holy enlistments The one He has gifted is me huh
