Be Your Own Hero

You've got to believe in yourself You've got to be no one else, but yourself You've got a dream you can see You've got to know you can be a Hero, a Hero My father came to America for a chance to be free A man with so many dreams and one especially for me He said I had the power of endless possibilities When I'm ready I'll show the world all of my abilities He said, "You have to believe you've got the chance to do right" You've got to be your own hero and tell your own Story Be your own hero and find your own Glory I didn't know what my father was talking about, So I took a long journey to figure it all out I followed and became the man that they all wanted me to be, But deep down inside I really wanted to be free.
