Recollection

There's an aching in my bones today And a fear in my head that thinks I've lost my touch I could drown myself in alcohol and nicotine And I still won't get my fix When there's nothing to do Ill sit in my room And wonder how the world has been I know nothings changed They all seem to say that It would be better off that way I can't seem to find My way back home And I'm not sure if I want to Anymore I've lost myself inside my thoughts Its a never-ending battle I will not win No amount of sleep will cure The pain and time I've lost and endured Everything I've ever loved or feared Has gone away in the last few years And I have no recollection of The things that I have done Everyone deserves a second chance When it is there time to fall I just didn't think that my time was now
