Because I'm thinking we really have too many theories and theologies But everybody has one, dividing us into colonies Life is too long to not have thoughts about God I mean why wouldn't you? I mean think If He isn't real, no injury if you believed But see if He is, and you agree not to believe is where it gets heavy We can agree to disagree, that's okay But what if you are spoon fed poison Shouldn't you take the time to test everything? I used to amuse in choosing to speak these words "God is mysterious" We've all seen or received that before And to some degree we can agree But not if it makes you throw the towel in Because for me I put the hours in You say he's mysterious so you stop searching deeper for truth But tell me, what good good father keeps secrets from his people?
