The Trap

The trap was opened by my pain And the feeling they would never let me play on any stage Of the local parties everybody parties But hardly ever asks for my name on their flyers It made me tired of trying to push my music So I said screw it I'm a loser I'll just do it no more I felt so sore in my core and let my anger fuel the future And rule the inspirations for the songs that I wrote Oh this longing was cold I felt the horns of a goat On my forehead but ignored it as they grew through my bones I felt cold as a stone caught alone in this hole And let this evil ghost slowly take control of my soul So he would give me the force to see you all choke! Then I was trapped Watch out for the trap once it snaps it's unforgiving Grabs you by the neck until it cracks but keeps you living On the leash of the serpent Even the strong are the perfect prey Everywhere demons are lurking And everybody everybody can be the perfect prey! This song is looking back at my lowest moment When I was dormant to the evil seed I was growing Inside of me I believed I had to feed this Black wolf that was eating up my intestines People asked me why my music sounded so dark Even though talking to me seems like a Sunday walk in the park I told 'em that this black wolf needed to bark And since I thought it was a part of me this is okay Until this one day where I told a good friend That there's a demon in me speaking and I'll let him ascend And since this demon is a part of my character blend I'm gonna use it's force working on good in the end My friend looked at me with a glow in his eyes Saying Aron, no, I won't let that slide! You have fallen for the lies from the master of disguise Who tries to make you blind and pay the ultimate price He will slowly dim the light from the life in your eyes And once you die you will wake up crying in a bed of fire You are a human being and by the blood of Holy Christ The devil must leave when the Holy One rises! Amen!
