Shadows of my youth haunt me I can't believe my eyes Perception that cant compare But memories can lie Maybe I've lost touch Maybe I've lost myself Cigarettes and drugs a crutch Holding up my private hell A shadow of myself Lie and say I'm well My mind it still dwells Deeper in the hole I fell I'm nothing, without my thoughts But their constant, I'm spinning, lost I guess its just the same Brain dull from the pain
