I stand on a platform And say things that I know to be true Like God is good and faithful But then I go home to an empty room And I hear Nobody cares, you should be scared You’re all alone Does this count me out Am I less to you now That you know All I am is human Human It gets dark sometimes Inside my mind And it’s hard for me to find the light Cause I’m human Human And I want to know that it’s okay That my heart can have Some heavy days I’m human We have done much better Talking about mental health That someone can love Jesus And still they can go through hell And I know It’s not their faith And that they didn’t pray It’s just because At the end of the day We all need saving I know I do And I know It’s not by my own strength That I’m still here And I am stronger than before God’s not done And he is not afraid He loves to heal He loves to save Cause he was human Human When my heart aches and I can’t sleep He knows my pain and weeps with me I’m human Human Now I know that it’s ok We all will have some heavy days We’re human
