Soliloquy

I only wrote of what was happening at the time I only quoted what I heard or saw A man stood on a windowsill A sudden bid for freedom Now he's lying still Free from all oppression No one left to tell him what to do or say Surely that is not the way I often wonder why they've put me in this prison cell I wonder what would've happened if I told them lies Something came crashing through a window A man or a woman Hell I don't know I was just driving my car along the road At that time of night there is not much light To see anything I don't know anymore I'm not allowed to talk Anymore
