Leap of Faith

All my life, no, I never really had shit I had to focus on my goals and not my passion They picked me up and tried to throw me in the trash bin But I recycled all my pain into action I took the time and deleted all distractions Was feeling lost and I bet you could imagine What it was like never feeling satisfaction I took a leap of faith without knowing what would happen But, I found a way out, I can finally say I see the truth Now that I know that life is bigger than just me and you People's problems make your problems seem so minuscule I blocked out all the noise and isolated all the visuals Cause you never know it until it happens to you And all you see is light till dark starts surrounding you Make sure you watchin' all the fakes, it could be difficult Cause if you turn away, the results could leave you critical So what's life all about? Been tryna figure out Is this the right path or should I find a different route You work your whole way up just to be brought back down You spend your whole life running, it's time to face it now I know you hear it but you really didn't listen Is this the tale that you want to tell your children You should be the hero but you're painted as a villain So consider this a sign to correct the things you didn't You can't understand the price until you make a purchase You can't love somebody else until you find your purpose You wouldn't know that you could fly unless you left the surface You can't value who you are until you know you're worth it You won't understand a win until you've had a loss You can't claim to risk it all with nothing at cost Don't know what it's like to heal without a single scar How can you comprehend a lesson if you're never taught You could always live a life that's full of misery Or you could take what you have left and make it history Cause every lesson learned is equal to a victory But if you never try, then you leave it as a mystery So if there's one thing left to take away from me Go out and find yourself, create your own story You could take control or you could let it go I'd rather try and fail Than to never know
