Fall

I can never say the right things at times like this I'm sure I'll be wrong Again So I tend not to say much at all Just say a dumb joke and move along I'm running out of voices to use When I talk to you in my head It kinda hurts when the words that you say are the words that you mean You've never been much of one to leave it up to interpretation I want to stand somewhere I can fall I want to live through it all But how can I do that when I'm afraid of the floor Don't know if I trust my legs anymore Now I find myself alone again That's supposed to give me time to think But I just fill my head with nothing And call myself smart for thinking of it My future is filled with choices But none I want to do But I think if I just thought it over I could find something to choose I want to stand somewhere I can fall I want to live through it all But how can I do that when I cant fall asleep Don't know if I'll make it to the next heartbeat The suns coming up it hasn't done that in weeks I've always had trouble getting up on time Punctuality has never been very easy for me I'm more one to take things slow But you made me get out Of my bed and my head And be where I am But to be honest, I'm afraid That my future is already made I guess that's something I need to deal with Because all of this doubt might make the difference I want to stand somewhere I can fall I want to live through it all But how can I do that when I'm afraid of the floor Don't know if I trust my legs anymore I want to stand somewhere I can fall I want to live through it all But how can I do that when I cant fall asleep Don't know if I'll make it to the next heartbeat
