Even though it was awful, it wasn't all the time There were things that made me care the way I did I think about it frequently even though it raises my anxiety You drove me like a car off of a bridge I miss the good times The late nights The talking to the moon The street signs The headlights I was blinded by you At the time I was glad you were mine I've grown to become someone much more spiteful There are times I wonder how you're doing I hope you grow and become something successful Even though you took what was mine as yours I miss the good times The late nights The talking to the moon The street signs The headlights I was blinded by you At the time I was glad you were mine I wasn't great but that's a given I tried my best to always listen History's written by the winner But I still feel like the villain Help should not have been ignored But I can't help you off the floor When the problem was me I hope now you can see I hope you break your mental prison When I see you next that you have risen I'm glad you don't need me You're better off living freely I miss the good times The late nights The talking to the moon The street signs The headlights I was blinded by you At the time I was glad you were mine Some late nights I drift to you I wonder what I would tell you If one day down the road our paths crossed again I sit and wonder if I could ever let you in again
