It's like the world's on fire And nobody's tryin' to douse the flames We're just standing in the middle the chaos And I'm sick and fuckin' tired of these games! Chaos all around us, truth and trust are left behind Politicians spinning stories, twisting facts to fuel divide Claiming immigrants eat pets so that they can fan the fire But I'm here screaming loud, burn the lies that they conspire! Got kids that have no future 'cause the leaders never listen They're too busy chasing power. They're all lost in their own mission Judging based on skin color and who we choose to love When deep down, we are all the same when push turns into shove Mad world, everything's a game of deception Mad world, livin' in a state of regression Mad world, everybody pointin' their blame Mad world, but ain't nobody changin' a thing They got us hooked on screens, chasin' likes for validation They don't care if you are lost. They profit off your desperation Another school in lockdown. Parents cryin' in the street And we're still talkin' rights while bodies line up in the heat. Racists in their suits and the bigotry in tweets While we stay numb and entertained, drowning in deceit Social media warriors, claimin' courage from their screens But when it comes time to stand up, they are nowhere to be seen Mad world, everything's a game of deception Mad world, livin' in a state of regression Mad world, everybody pointin' their blame Mad world, but ain't nobody changin' a thing The world is like a circus with the clowns runnin' the show While the real people suffer with no places left to go Politicians promise change and then they profit from our pain I'm done with empty promises, and all this endless blame We've got kids out shootin' kids because they are taught to hate Got walls between us all, only widening the gate! Hear gunshots in the night, mothers cryin' out at dawn But they still argue rights, is their fuckin conscience gone?! Yo, the earth is burnin' up, they say it's all a scam Distractions from the truth while they execute their plan. I'm not about the silence, I'm about to break the chains Because if we don't rise up now, we'll be lost in the remains!
